Caroline Bourgeois is head curator of the Pinault Collection. Since 1998, she has been in charge of the video department of François Pinault's collection, for which she has built up an international body of work tracing the history of the moving image. At Palazzo Grassi and Punta della Dogana in Venice, she has curated numerous exhibitions, including "Slip of the Tongue" (2015) in collaboration with Danh Vo, "Martial Raysse" (2015), "Albert Oehlen. Cows by the Water" (2018), "La Pelle. Luc Tuymans" (2019), "Untitled, 2020" (2020) with Muna El Fituri and Thomas Houseago, "Bruce Nauman: Contrapposto Studies" (2021-2022) with Carlos Basualdo and "Marlene Dumas. open-end" (2022). At the Bourse de Commerce in Paris, she curated "Felix Gonzalez-Torres - Roni Horn" (2021), exhibitions by Charles Ray (2021) and Ser Serpas (2023), as well as Danh Vo's carte blanche in the Rotonde space (2022). Since 2007, she has also curated numerous exhibitions from the Pinault Collection outside the walls, including at the Tripostal in Lille, the Garage Center for Contemporary Culture in Moscow, the Conciergerie in Paris, the Couvent des Jacobins in Rennes and the Fresnoy in Tourcoing.
