Independent 20th Century at the Battery Maritime Building NYC

On Wednesday, September 7, 2022, APAA hosted Elizabeth Dee, the co-founder of Independent 20th Century to share a preview and highlights of the fair. More than 70 artists, 22 solo and duo artist presentations and special projects have been commissioned especially for this new fair, presented by 32 international galleries. The Features section of Independent’s website is a particularly wonderful source of new perspectives on artists including Giorgio de Chirico, Robert Duran, Paul Gardère, Ron Gorchov, Toni LaSelle, Stanislao Lepri, Ivens Machado, Juanita McNeely, Kate Millett, Paul Neagu, Lee Quiñones , Joe Ray, Luiz Sacilotto, Mario Schifano, Chico da Silva, and Barbara Levittoux-Świderska.
