Lela Hersh is President of Museum and Fine Arts Consulting LLC, a Chicago-based consulting firm that assists collectors in the building of and caring for museum-quality art collections. Hersh’s art advisory firm focuses on the international modern, contemporary, and photography markets. They offer a wide variety of professional services with a strong focus on education and research – all of which are tailored to each client’s level and interests.
Credentials
Prior to almost 20 years as an art advisor, Lela Hersh was a 20-year veteran of the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, where she served as their Director of Collections and Exhibitions. She is a Senior Lecturer at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and Adjunct Professor at Claremont Graduate University, California. Hersh also works as a curator, researcher, and an appraiser.
