About

Jennifer Klos, founder of Collector House, is an art advisor, independent curator and lecturer based in Dallas, Texas. With her experience as Curator at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art, Jennifer gained an in-depth knowledge of museum best practices and developed relationships in the art world that inspired her to start her own business in 2016. Her skills include curatorial research, and collection management services such as shipping, storage, installation, insurance, and documentation. She offers a full range of art advisory, collection management, and strategic consulting for private clients, corporations, and institutions.

From emerging collectors to seasoned art buyers, Jennifer Klos prioritizes educating her clients on acquiring art through research, gallery visits, art fairs, studio visits, lectures and travel tours. She relies on experience and relationships built during more than twenty years in the art world to find desirable works of art for residences, lobbies, offices, and public spaces. Each project is tailored to the client’s aesthetic, budget, viewpoint, and corporate ethos. She researches artwork on the primary and secondary market from galleries, auction houses, and artist studios, including site-specific commissions. She negotiates best terms for acquisition based on expertise and art market research. She demonstrates honesty, integrity and transparency with clients, galleries, and art colleagues.

In 2003, Jennifer earned a bachelor’s degree in History of Art and French from Vanderbilt University, and a master’s degree in the History of decorative arts, design, and culture from the Bard Graduate Center in New York in 2007.
