Based in Brussels, Fine Art Consult specialises in providing high-quality advice on global Post-War, Contemporary and emerging art, expertly managing art acquisitions from start to finish and assisting in the creation of distinguished collections.
Credentials
Established in 2015 by art historians Laura De Beir and Ellen De Schepper, Fine Art Consult was founded to meet the demand for independent, impartial and confidential advice on acquiring and managing fine art.
Specialising in global Post-War, Contemporary and emerging art, Fine Art Consult provides high-quality guidance to both aspiring and established private collectors, family estates, corporations and interior designers.
They develop creative strategies rooted in art historical understanding and art market expertise, facilitating the creation of timeless art collections that reflect the collector’s taste and personality.
Based in Brussels, Fine Art Consult maintains strong relationships with numerous prominent professionals throughout Europe and beyond.
Education/Professional Associations
Ellen De Schepper and Laura De Beir both pursued their studies in Art History at the University of Leuven in Belgium.
Following her Bachelor's degree in Art History, Ellen furthered her education by earning a Master's degree in Art Business from the Sotheby's Institute of Art /University of Manchester. Additionally, she holds certificates in Modern and Contemporary Art from Oxford University and MoMA.
Laura completed her Master's degree in Art History at the University of Leuven in Belgium and later obtained a diploma in Management from the ICHEC Business School of Brussels. She then enrolled in a specialised Postgraduate program in Connoisseurship at Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
